Job Description
Blue Mountain Hospital, located in Blanding, Utah is seeking a part-time/full-time Dialysis Patient Care Technician.
As part of our professional team, you will be responsible for measuring and recording patient data, patient observations, machine set up, needle insertion, central venous catheter care and more healthcare related tasks. Patient Care Technicians work under the supervision of a Nephrology Nurse to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatments for patients.
Qualifications
To be considered a candidate, you must have a High School diploma or GED and must have the ability to pass clinical competencies and a Certification Exam. Dependability and the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner a must. Previous experience in the medical field a plus, but we would be willing to train the right candidate. Navajo or Ute language preferred. Must be willing to make at least a two year minimum commitment to this position.
