Position Overview
Blue Mountain Hospital is seeking a dedicated and motivated Food Services Associate to join our team. This role involves ensuring a high standard of customer service and professionalism while preparing and delivering nutritious meals for patients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to recipes, minimize waste, and ensure timely meal delivery.
- Deliver and retrieve food in designated areas; review daily menus for accurate prep.
- Label, date, and rotate stored food items, maintaining a clean work environment.
- Adhere to health department standards and BMH’s confidentiality policy.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable handling cleaning solutions (PPE provided).
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with BMH dietary programs.
